I am a native New Orleanian who spent 15 years away from the city and returned during 2020. My time leaving was during Katrina and my return was during the peak of the pandemic, but I’ve always been one to look at the silver lining. It is now over 2 years since I “moved home for 3 months” from San Francisco and I am grateful for the opportunity to to work remotely from SF and be among family, friends, and the constant inspiration in New Orleans.
ART
I love to combine my work experience in technoloy and design with my passion for art. I love using tools such as midjourney and dall-e 2 to generate images based on text and use them as inspiration for compositions, subject matter, color schemes, or as collaged materials in the paintings themselves. The pace of change in this area is fascinating to me and I love the opportunity to tell stories in my work
DESIGN
In the tech world, I work as a strategist to develop intenral tools for developers to build better, faster. Over my career, I have held numerous roles as a user experience strategist and designer in both large corporations and start ups and have more recently shifted my focus to operations and technology.
TEACHING
I also have a passion for teaching and inspiring others to learn about design thinking. I have taught at various bootcamp and was a member of adjunct faculty at Northwestern University. I dream of being an art teacher one day soon, as well!
